Signal Processing Lab



ARC2
This lab is equipped with 70 PCs, FPGA trainer kits, embedded trainer kits, DSP trainer kits etc. This lab is utilized for mini projects, main projects of the EC department as well as other Departments.


Signals and Systems Lab




The Signals and Systems Lab provides students with a variety of tools which support their curricular and co-curricular activities. Signal processing and hardware programming labs are conducted here as a part of the curriculum.



Logic Design lab




This lab is used to conduct experiments related to Digital Circuits and Logic Design, which ranges from the study of various logic gates to the design of various sequential and combinational circuits. This lab is equipped with Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Digital IC trainer kits, multiple power supplies etc. Students from various departments use this lab for performing various digital experiments.



Basic Electronics lab



Basic Electronics lab is equipped with 11 CROs from APLAB, 11 Function Generators from APLAB, 11 Dual DC Power Supplies from APLAB, 5 PCs, IC Tester, 1 Output meter, Voltmeters, Ammeters, Analog and Digital Multimeters, Rheostat and components including transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors etc. Students use this lab for performing analog circuits experiments.


Project lab




This lab is equipped with 17 CROs, 12 Function Generators, 11 Dual DC Power Supplies, Voltmeters, Ammeters, Analog and Digital Multimeter, Rheostat and components including transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors etc. Students can make use of this facility for doing their analog circuits lab and mini project.


PCB lab





Photo lithography unit with developing and etching facility along with shearing, drilling and soldering units are arranged for the purpose of building custom printed PCB's.


Communication lab

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical pertaining to Wireless communications including study of modulation and demodulation techniques, transmitters and receivers, analog and digital communication methodologies etc. The latest equipment like high bandwidth Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, multiple power supplies etc. are available in the lab besides training kits for studying the various communication techniques. This laboratory provides the students with an opportunity to work in the communication area.


Microwave & Optics Lab




Microwave systems have made a great impact on our society with the rapid increase of various consumer products. The Microwave and Optics Laboratory in the department motivates students to progress towards the design and analysis of microwave circuits, components and sub-systems. Microwave antennas, dipole antennas, phase shifters, filters, Spectrum Analyser, Optical Fiber Educational kit, Satellite Communication trainer are some such components.



Embedded Systems Lab

 This lab is equipped with all the equipment for doing Software and hardware experiments with a microcomputer system. Assembly language programming, simple input/output interfacing, and interrupt processing in microcomputer systems can be done in this lab. Students can do mini projects and main projects in this lab. The lab is equipped with all the software and hardware to do the projects.



Shockley lab



This lab is equipped with 29 PCs and one Server PC, FPGA trainer kits, Embedded Development Boards, COMSOL and Cadence VLSI design Suite. This lab is utilized for M Tech lab experiments, M Tech projects and research works of students as well as faculty members.


Shannon lab



This lab is equipped with 30 PCs and one server PC, National instruments USRP kits and Ansys HFSS. This lab is utilized for M Tech lab experiments, B tech & M Tech projects and research works of students as well as faculty members.
Electronics Engineering Workshop
Electronics engineering workshop is equipped with 12 digital storage oscilloscopes from Keysight, 12 function generators from Scientech, 15 dual power supply from Scientech. Students use this workshop to do some basic experiments in electronics engineering and soldering on printed circuit boards.
