    The worldwide community of Autodesk Authorized Academic Partners will help RSET to shape the future of design and engineering education with training and support tailored to the academic programs.
    Being an Academic Partner through this, the students and educators of RSET can assess and validate their skills through industry-recognized certifications. This will help RSET to build a pool of on-campus educator and student experts in design
    The Course work offered through the program will help educators and students of RSET to validate their skills, boost career opportunities, and build experience through a project-focused learning experience.
    Revenue involved, if any : The Training on various software from Autodesk will be given to students/faculty members of RSET at a subsidised rate.
    The Fee for each training program will be mutually agreed with RSET and Atodesk authorised training centre upon commencing of each programme every year. 20 % of the agreed rates will be given to RSET for providing infrastructure and lab facilities.

  • MoU with YEX-TREME TECHNOLOGY
  • Period: May 24th, 2018
    • Thrust areas of collaboration: CNC Machining and product design.
    • To promote Institute-Industry interaction between RSET and Yex-Treme Technology and also to collaborate and work together in the field of precision engineering and machining.
    • Yex-Treme Technology will provide hand on experience in real production environment related to advanced machining operations for faculty and students at RSET.

  • Period: 23rd August 2017

    Thrust areas of collaboration: Academic and cultural interchange in the areas of exchange, teaching, research, transfer and other activities.
    Activities: Student exchange programs enables students from each institution to study, conducting research, projects & internships at the other. Faculty exchange programs which creates oppurtunities for faculty such as conducting research, teaching, knowledge sharing activities etc. MoU envisages a permanent representation office at RSET as a part of Rajagiri Institute of Future Technologies (RIoFT) an institute meant for developing technologies of the future in collaboration with industries which will host staff and students from both universities that are working on common research and transfer projects. Services to the local industries could be channeled through this representation office to make it self-sustainable.

    Thrust areas of collaboration: CNC Machining and production
    Activities: To impart practical knowledge on CNC machining and precision engineering by providing training for students with engineering background and also for faculties from RSET. Hands on experience along with theoretical knowledge on various machining processes and precision machines. To explore joint research areas where HMT is focusing the product development and retrofitting of machine and Industrial automation projects. RSET can work along with HMT for many skill development programs under Govt. of India., e.g. skill development scheme under Make-in-India policy.

    Activities: The Flagship project under this collaboration is BigData Analytical Framework for IoT-enabled Seamless Transport System (BAF-ISTS).   This project envisages a network  of Internet Protocol enabled devices- including sensors,  cameras etc that will enable Kochi Metro and the entire transport system of the city , to have an IoT to monitor and collect data related to traffic pattern, modes of traffic, traffic related services availability/delivery, Joint project proposals etc.

    Activities : This MoU proposes to conduct student’s training programme for Automation and Process Instrumentation through ISOI Kochi chapter who coordinates WALCO and RSET. WALCO trainees will be given industry relevant theoretical as well as practical training at RSET Instrumentation Process Lab  apart from the training given at M/s WALCO. WALCO  will use RSET lab facilities (DCS, PLC, LabVIEW-7.1, Process Stations, Calibration Setup for Pressure, temperature, flow etc)  and faculty as part of training programme.
