  ADMISSION INFORMATION

  • B.Tech admission is based purely on merit.
  • Acdemic Eligibility: As per the norms of Govt. of Kerala
  • Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2020.
  • 50% government merit seats , 35% college merit seats, 15% NRI seats.
  • 15% supernumerary seats for Foriegn Nationals (FN)/Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG)
  ADMISSION FOR GOVERNMENT MERIT SEATS

  • Government merit seats will be allotted by the commissioner for entrance examination based on KEAM 2020 rank.
  • College code for govt. merit (as in the prospectus published by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations): RET
  • For govt. merit seats candidates have to opt RET (college code) and branch of preference online as and when announced by Commissioner for Entrance examinations. Visit http://www.cee-kerala.org/index.php/keam/keam2020
  • Fee for Govt. merit admission: As given in the allotment memo.
  ADMISSION FOR COLLEGE MERIT SEATS

  • College merit seats will be filled by the management from the rank list prepared by the college from the Registrations received giving equal weightage to KEAM 2020 marks and plus two marks (for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), after normalization.
  • For college merit seats, candidates have to apply online before 3 pm, 15 September 2020.
  • Following certificates/documents (original scanned)are to be uploaded during the Registration itself.

   NRI MERIT SEATS

  • Fee for NRI merit seats: Total fee to be paid at the time of admission will be around INR 97000/- (Ninety seven thousand rupees only)
  • NRI applicants have to pay registration fee of USD 6000.
  • Candidates who are interested to get admission in NRI seat can register their name here.

   FOREIGN NATIONALS/PERSONS OF INDIAN ORIGIN(PIO)/CHILDREN OF INDIAN WORKERS IN GULF COUNTRIES(CIWG)

  • 10% of sanctioned intake in each branch is reserved for Foreign nationals/Persons of Indian origin as supernumerary seats. Definitions(ref: AICTE notification No.F.37-3/Legal/2004 published in The Gazette of India on February 26, 2004): (a) Persons of Indian Origin (PIO): shall mean the persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of citizenship Act. 1955. (b) Foreign nationals: shall mean the citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO.

  FEE & SCHOLARSHIPS

B.TECH. FEE

  • 5% of seats in each branch under Govt. merit shall be filled extra under AICTE tuition fee waiver scheme (TFW – exempted from paying the tuition fee of Rs.75000/-). Students shall apply for this scheme as and when notified by the government.
  • Tuition fee waiver for students admitted in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation (AEI) who score more than 90% (A+) marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for their higher secondary examination.
  • MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED BY THE MANAGEMENT
    Management will provide scholarship for meritorious students as per the slab given below. The scholarship will be continued for subsequent years only on the basis of academic performance of the candidate. To avail scholarship for the (n+1)th year the candidate should have earned SGPA of 7.5 for both the semesters in the nth year.

  • AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION FULL FEE OF RS. 197000/- HAS TO BE PAID.

  • THE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, AS GIVEN IN THE SLAB BELOW, WILL BE PROVIDED AS REFUND ONCE THE ADMISSION IS CONFIRMED.

  • REFUND AMOUNT WILL BE CREDITED TO THE ACCOUNT OF THE STUDENT AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE COLLEGE MERIT ADMISISON PROCESS.

  REFUND POLICY
  • In the event of a student withdrawing admission before the start of the Course, the entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) shall be refunded.
  • In case, if a student leaves after joining the Course, refundable deposit ,Rs.100000/- (Rupees one lakh only), collected shall be refunded.

  HOSTEL FACILITIES

Hostels for Boys :
Sanjoe(inside the campus): Hostel has its own mess facility.
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the higher secondary examination (plus two) and the distance from the college to their place of residence. 75% weightage will be given to plus two marks and 25% weightage will be given to distance.
Applicants whose residence is within 25km from the college shall not get hostel facilities as college bus facilities are available.

Attached Shared Room(2Bedded): Rs: 67,000/-
Non Attached Shared Room(3 Bedded):Rs.42000/-
Mess Fee Advance: Rs.45000/-
Hostels for Girls :
(1) Assumption hostel (inside the campus)(2) Daya Bhavan (outside the campus)
Transport facilities will be provided from Daya Bhavan to the campus. All the hostels have their own mess facilities.
Applicants whose residence is within 25km from the college shall not get hostel facilities as college bus facilities are available.
