STUDENT TEACHER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME (STEP)

Organised by Department of Mathematics, RSET & Centre for Topology and Application The Student Teacher Enrichment Programme (STEP), organized by the Department of Mathematics & Centre for Topology and Application* has as its objectives the development of intellectual and creative abilities of teachers and students through challenging instructional activities; improvement of research skills and methods; interaction with globally renowned subject experts; and providing assistance for students to become more independent and effective learners. Various academic and co-curricular activities of the type: Faculty Development Programme, Course on a Subject, Short term training programmes, Workshop, Seminar, Webinar, Paper presentation, Student competitions, Mock test for GATE, NET and JAM, Summer Internships, Research meetings etc. will be conducted as part of STEP. As the first initiative of STEP, a webinar series STEP 1 on Topology, Graph theory, Linear algebra, stochastic process and mathematical modelling was held from 23rd September to 16th October 2020. The first session in STEP 1 was by Saber Elyadi, Trinity University, USA.

Student –Teacher Enrichment Programme (STEP 2)

Dept. of Mathematics and Centre for Topology and Applications (CETA), RSET organized an online mock test for GATE (B.Tech) and Joint CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and Lectureship (NET) on the subject MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE, as a part of the launch of the second phase of the Student –Teacher Enrichment Programme (STEP 2), on 7th November, 2020. The thrust of the Student – Teacher Enrichment Program was to encourage applicants to evaluate their preparedness for achieving their goals, as well as their fundamental knowledge of the basic subjects.

The Student Teacher Enrichment Programme (STEP), is a programme organized by the Department of Mathematics & Centre for Topology and Application. Department of Mathematics, RSET in association with CETA conducted a model examination for class10th and 12th students studying in CBSE syllabus on 20th November, 2021. This programme was to enhance the learning process and to familiarize students with the new exam pattern conducted by CBSE Board.
The details are given below:

  • Followed the latest question paper pattern of CBSE
  • Mode: online Platform
  • Date 20/11/2021
  • Time Duration : 40 minutes
  • No limit on number participants from a school.
  • Syllabus: Term 1 for CBSE class 10 and 12.
