Mathematics Club

The Mathematics Club at RSET aims to promote an interest in the discipline of Mathematics, both in the students of the institution and the general public. The club functions under the aegis of the department of mathematics, with the faculty members of the department and B.Tech. students as its members. The student members are chosen by a rigorous test in Mathematics. The club makes its presence felt by organizing various outreach activities, viz., quiz, presentation competition, enrichment programs etc..

The club conducts an annual All Kerala Mathematics Quiz competition for school students, the 18th edition of which was successfully conducted on March 14th, 2022. Webinar series named STEP (Student Teacher Enrichment Program) is conducted regularly, in a hybrid mode, compatible with the present pandemic scenario. As a novel endeavour, online mock tests for GATE and NET aspirants were conducted, the response for which was encouraging. We strive for excellence, by refreshing our ways as required from time to time.
