  1. Raphael Tony, Reuben Dinny, Neha Bimal, and Shreya Baburaj from S8 CSE Gamma, got special mention for sustainability and the audience choice award in the SIGHT technical expo organized by UST with the goal of identifying innovative college projects from South India.

  2. Funded Project Under RSET SEED Money scheme
    Name of Project: Telescope Automation: Software solution for Positioning, Alignment and Object Classification. Amount Sanctioned: 30,000/-

  3. Mr. Alan Joseph of 2021-2025 CSE A batch won 1st place in Python Programming tier 1 competition held at Muthoot institute of Technology and Science on 26th November 2023 in which many other teams from all over Kerala participated. He will be representing RSET at tier 3 competitions which will be a southern section student’s competition along with his team members (Jovan George of S5 AIDS and Pranav K of S5 ECE).
  4. Anantha Krishnan G of 2020-2024 CSE A won Second prize in Pegasus 2.0 Hackathon organized by IEEE MITS on 24th -25th November 2023 held at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science.

  6. Won first prize at HackS'US- 24 hour- Intra College Hackathon conducted by IEDC RSET on 2nd & 3rd December 2022
  7. Won first prize in Shark Tank conducted on 17th December 2022 as part of Techkshetra'22 at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology
  8. Won first prize in Hack League, a 24-hr Hackathon conducted on 22nd December 2022 at College of Engineering Chenganur.
  9. Won first prize in Pitch Perfect, Ideathon conducted on 1st APRIL 2023 at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, by Google Developer Students Club.
  10. Won the Best entry for ideation on Sustainability based start-ups at the *Sustainability Hackathon Challenge* held at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad. Event was organised as a part of G20 Summit 2023 & award presented by H K Mittal.
  11. First Prize (Rs. 8000/-) won for the Team of CSE students a) Anantha Krishnan G, b) Anjoe S Nambadan, c) Chackochan Sanjai, d) Ashwin Saji for the Hackathon conducted at College of Engineering Chengannur in December 2022.
  12. Mr. Manas Manohar offered a talk on "Innovations and Opportunities to the Youth" in Maharajas College Ernakulam on 23rd March 2023.
  13. Ann Rose Cheriyan(2018-2022) won IEEE CS Richard E Merwin Scholarship(Spring 2021)
  14. Manas Manohar(2019-2023) participated in K-DISC Young Innovators Program(YIP) and won Rs.12,000.
  15. Joanne Mary Jonns(2017-2021) and Pooja Vinod(2016-2020) received Grace Hopper Celebration of Women In Computing India(GHCI) Student Scholarship
  16. Joanne Juneie ,Joshna Ann Salu ,Maria Rojo Jose(2019-2023) received Millenium Fellowship conducted by UAE government.
  17. Divins Mathew(2016-2020) received a patent for the device " AUTOTEMP"  used for measuring and monitoring body temperature with minimal human intervention
  18. Pooja Vinod (2016-2020)received Facebook Secure and Private AI Nanodegree Scholarship 2019,Outstanding Scholar Recognition(Facebook Secure and Private AI Challenge Scholarship),Facebook Secure and Private AI Challenge Scholarship 2019, 3rd Place, Ernakulam District Level, Maria Phillip Memorial Debate Contest 2018, Champion(1st place), State Finals- All Kerala Maria Phillip Memorial Debate Competition 2018(Cash Award- 25000), Best Speaker Award, State Finals- All Kerala Maria Phillip Memorial Debate Competition 2018(Cash Award- 15000) and got Selection for fully-funded international internship in Matsue City, Japan
