Mr. Vinay Menon graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajagiri School of Engineering and  Technology, Cochin under Mahatma Gandhi University in 2008 and earned his Post  Graduation  degree  of  MA  in  English  Literature  from Indira Gandhi Open University, Delhi through distance education(IGNOU,  2015).  During  the period of 2008 to 2014, he has worked as a Software Tester in Infosys (Mysore and  Chennai,  2008-2011), and as  Senior  Test  Engineer  in  Amadeus (Bangalore,  2011-2013)  and  UST  Global (Trivandrum and Cochin, 2013-2014).  He  began  his  career  in  teaching  from  the  academic year of 2015 in Al-Ameen Arts and Science College, Edathala (2015), The Cochin College, Mattancherry (2015-2016), Chinmaya  Vidhyapeet (2016)  and joined  RSET  in  August  2016. In 2018, he began his  PhD  at  Amrita  Vishwa  Vidhyalaya,  Ettimadai  on  the  topic  of  Japanese  History and Japanese Graphic Novels.

His areas of research interest consist of New Historicism, Historical materialism, Social Anthropology, Sociology, Japanese History and Japanese Visual Media.
