Ginnes K John is Assistant Professor (stage 2) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET), Kochi. He obtained B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from M.A.College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala in the year 2005. He received M.Tech in Power Electronics from Amrita University, Coimbatore in the year 2008 and currently he is a research scholar (part time) in the same university. He has been teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students since 2009.

He joined RSET on 3rd January 2011.

He has published a number of papers in national & international journals and conferences.

His areas of interest includes Power Electronics, Power Quality, Smart Grid, Microgrid and Electrical Drives.

He has co-authored book on "Power Electronics Laboratory Manual - Design, Testing and Simulation" by CBS Publishers & Distributors in the year 2017.

He has also co-authored a book on Fundamentals of Electrical Machines and Drives, by Elsevier in the year 2014 and re-published by Cengage Learning, in the year 2016.
