Dr. Aysha Zeneeb Majeed

Ms Aysha Zeneeb Majeed is currently Associate Professor at RSET where she has been working since 2005. She has been in the field of teaching since 2003 and has worked as structural design consultant for two years prior to teaching. Ms. Zeneeb obtained her B. Tech (Civil Engineering) from REC Calicut in 1999, with a proficiency award in academics and later obtained her M.Tech degree (Construction Engineering & Management) from CUSAT in 2009. She completed her PhD (Structural Engineering) in 2017 from IIT Madras.  She is an “Empanelled Building Energy Efficiency Expert” (BEEE), empanelled by Energy Management Centre (EMC), Government of Kerala. She is a Life Member of Indian Concrete Institute and  Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India)∙ She is also authorised to use the title Chartered Engineer (India) by The Institution of Engineers (India).

She has done consultancy work in the areas of structural design for NGOs, Local and Government bodies. She also represented the Ernakulam District for providing technical advice for the CARe Kerala Project an initiative of government of Kerala to rehabilitate the flood affected community of Ernakulam Region

She has received best teacher award by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - Yi-Kochi Chapter during March 2018 and Best Paper Award for "Partial Replacement of Aggregates with Granulated Waste Plastic in Solid Concrete Blocks-An Intensive Study" in GBSE International Conference during January 2018. Also, the project guided by her received the best final year B.Tech project award Pro-Comp 2018 Award, awarded by Albertian Institute of Science & Technology, in association with Graduates' Association of Consultant Engineers.

She has published technical papers in international and national journals. She has also presented papers at international and national conferences.
