B. Tech in Computer Science & Business Systems (CSBS) in Collaboration with TCS

To address the growing need of engineering talent with skills in digital technology, Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology in partnership with India’s leading Information Technology (IT) Service and Consulting Company – TCS is offering a 4-year specialized engineering programme named ‘Computer Science & Business Systems’ (CSBS).

The objective of the programme is to impart certain knowledge and skillsets to the students and develop certain attitudes and behaviours among the students to make them successful in the era of Business 4.0. The curriculum of this collaborative programme aims to ensure that the students graduating from the programme not only know the core topics of Computer Science but also develop an equal appreciation of humanities, management sciences and human values. The students are also exposed to emerging topics such as Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things etc. to make them industry ready at the end of four years of study.

The students graduating from the CSBS program will be industry and society ready. They will have the following knowledge / skill and attitude and will be in a position to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of the Indian economy:

  • Understanding of Contemporary Technology
  • Understanding of Technology Abstraction
  • Knowledge of Common Business Principles
  • Business Discipline and Service Orientation
  • Innovation Ability
