International Society of Automation (ISA)
The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a non-profit professional association of engineers, technicians, and management engaged in industrial automation. As the globally trusted provider of foundational standards-based technical resources for the profession, ISA strives to build a better world through automation.
The International Society of Automation (ISA) student section for Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) was established in April 2022, and is sponsored by the ISA Bangalore section.

Instrument Society of India (ISOI)
ISOI  is the only Indian official society for Process Control and Instrumentation engineers.
The meeting of Instrumentation Society of India, Kochi Chapter is conducted regularly at RSET, with participation of senior officials from the Industry and Academia. The student chapter of ISOI organizes Seminar competition on Instrumentation and Process Control as well as project exhibition.

Apptronics
The department also has student association named Apptronics. The association conducts invited talks from industry as well organizes industry visits for the students. The association releases a news bulletin once a year called “Apptronics Review”, which includes the following:

  • Informative articles contributed by faculty as well as students
  • Summary of major departmental activities from the time of previous release to the current release.

  • Inauguration of Apptronics for the academic year 2022-23 was done on 18th Nov 2022.The chief guest for the occasion is Mr. Ajesh Ajayan, Production Manager at Infineon Technologies, Austria.
