On behalf of our students and faculty, it gives me great privilege to welcome you to the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AD) Department of this esteemed & prestigious institution.
AI and Data Science is a specialization of Computer Science and Engineering concerned with methods to make computers or machines intelligent. It is one of the most demanding courses in today’s world as it has excellent career opportunities in various sectors, such as IT and IT-enabled service industries, banking, government agencies, business, telecommunication, e-commerce, healthcare, climatology, social networking companies, biotechnology, genetics, research and development, insurance, aerospace, and many more.
The Department of AI & DS is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education standard to achieve academic excellence and provides platform for the students to achieve their career goals. We focus in imparting the fundamentals of computing aspects and the core AI and Data Science technologies, so that students cope easily with today’s modern and upgrading technologies. The department inculcates technical, analytical and communication skills in students that would suffice for any job in the current challenging world.
The Department has a team of highly experienced, motivated and dedicated faculty members who are in the process of tuning the young minds to make them globally competitive. We are committed not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society.
Department has an excellent infrastructural and computing facilities and provides a conducive environment to promote academic and research excellence in the department. Above all, the entire teaching fraternity of the department of AI & DS looks forward to the holistic growth of the department and they aim at providing quality education and research opportunities to our students.
