Training in the English language and communication skills receives priority in the RSET educational experience. Students are given practical and theoretical training in the language and communication theory in the first two years of the undergraduate programme, which is in addition to the university-prescribed course in communication skills. The RSET Language Lab, managed by the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities, provides language tutorials for students who voluntarily opt for Remedial English classes. The exercises give the students exposure to a variety of listening and speaking drills, helping them to overcome language deficiencies, and improve their command over the language.
