  ADMISSION INFORMATION

  • Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology is an Autonomous institution (conferred by UGC and A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University) affiliated to A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University.
  • As an Autonomous institution, Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology can design curriculum, prescribe syllabus for the courses, conduct final examination and announce the result for its own subject to the approval of A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University.
  • RAJAGIRI SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (RSET) is managed by CMI congregation of catholic church and is a member college of Kerala Catholic Engineering College Management’s Association (KCECMA). B.Tech. Programmes (which have started before 2020) of RSET are NBA accredited and the college is reaccredited by NAAC with A grade in second cycle.

  • B.Tech. admission is based purely on merit.
  • Academic Eligibility: As per the norms of Govt. of Kerala/A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University/All India Council for Technical Education/University Grants Commission.
  • Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2024.
  • Academic Eligibility: 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/equivalent subject taken together in 12th grade examination.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES AND PARENTS (Admission Procedure)

  • Candidates can come for admission to the college office according to the schedule.
  • Refer https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keam2024// for instructions by CEE.
  • All the candidates allotted to RET are directed to fill in the APPLICATION for admission online (click here), Upload the photo, signature and all other documents mentioned therein . Then submit the application.
    [No need for the submission of new application for those who have already submitted an application form for management/NRI quota admission process.]
  • Fees can be paid only through our Online Portal. See the Fee structure and Fee Payment Link are given below.
    Note: DD/Cash/Cheque payments are not acceptable.
  • Admission will be confirmed only after submitting all the certificates in original and the full fees.
  • Candidates have to ensure that they have enough copies of their certificates for their personal use as the certificates once submitted can’t be taken back immediately.
  • Admission will be done only on the dates given below subject to verification of original of certificates of qualifying marks, category and KEAM 2024 score.
  • Details regarding Hostel admission, Bus facilities, Uniform etc.. will be available at the admission desk.
  • Candidates who got allotment in the second phase have to physically join the allotted colleges by paying the fees applicable.

Procedure for Fee Payment : After the allotment and certificate verification process, the online payment option will be activated in the candidate portal of the student and the applicant can pay the fees via online mode from the campus itself.
Those candidates who do not pay the fees on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases.

   FOREIGN NATIONALS/PERSONS OF INDIAN ORIGIN(PIO)

  • 10% of sanctioned intake in each branch is reserved for Foreign nationals/Persons of Indian origin as supernumerary seats. Definitions(ref: AICTE notification No.F.37-3/Legal/2004 published in The Gazette of India on February 26, 2004): (a) Persons of Indian Origin (PIO): shall mean the persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of citizenship Act. 1955. (b) Foreign nationals: shall mean the citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO.

  REFUND POLICY
  • Refund Policy

  • In the event of a student withdrawing admission before the start of the programme, the entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of ₹.1000/- (₹ One Thousand only) shall be refunded to the candidates own Bank Account.
  • In case a student leaves after the commencement of regular classes (online/offline), refundable deposit, ₹100,000/- (₹ One lakh only) collected, shall be refunded.

  HOSTEL FACILITIES

Hostels for Boys :
Sanjoe(inside the campus): Hostel has its own mess facility.
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the higher secondary examination (plus two) and the distance from the college to their place of residence. 75% weightage will be given to plus two marks and 25% weightage will be given to distance.
Applicants whose residence is within 25km from the college shall not get hostel facilities as college bus facilities are available.
Hostels for Girls :
(1) Assumption hostel (inside the campus)(2) Daya Bhavan (outside the campus)
Transport facilities will be provided from Daya Bhavan to the campus. All the hostels have their own mess facilities.
Applicants whose residence is within 25km from the college shall not get hostel facilities as college bus facilities are available.

College bus facility available to 21 destinations through almost all important places in Ernakulam district.
