Ms. Lekshmi   Vijayakumar completed her M Phil & Masters degree in Economics from Department of Economics, Kariavattom,University of Kerala. She graduated from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, affiliated to Kerala University.

She started her career as a teaching assistant in Department of Economics, Kerala Agricultural University. She has taught Micro and Macro Economics, International Economics and Agricultural Economics for post graduate and undergraduate students. She joined Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology in July 2012.She teaches Business Economics and Principles of Management to B Tech students.

Her areas of interest include Micro and Macro Economics and   Migration & Environmental Economics.
