Thankachan T. Pullan was born in Ernakulam district of Kerala, India in 1964. He obtained B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University in the year 1987. He completed ME degree in Machine Tool Engineering from P.S.G. College of Technology, Coimbatore, in the year 1989. He obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering from Cochin University in the year 2013. He was working as Deputy General Manager in HMT Ltd, Kochi, a public sector Machine Tool Manufacturing Company before joining academics. Presently he is working as Associate Professor at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. He has 23 Years of industrial experience in different areas like Design, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Computer Integrated Manufacturing etc. He has 17 Years of teaching experience. He has Ph. D Guideship under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. He has many international publications to his credit.
