Shibu P.P., Associate Director in Physical Education, has Masters Degree in Physical Education (MPES), M.Phil from Annamalai University, Chidamparam, and PhD from Karpagam University, Coimbatore. The tile of his thesis is "Effect of varied regimen of specific exercise programme on selected physiological and biochemical variables in type 2 diabetic patients."

 He has an experience of 11years in teaching. He was working with various school and colleges in and around the state. His area of interest is in volleyball and shuttle badminton. He is a qualified volleyball official. He is a well known sports organizer too.
