 Aim and Scope
Mathematical modeling has a significant role to play in the modern scientific and technological innovation and advancement. Mathematical modeling helps to model the real world problems through the language of Mathematics . This combined with computing gives meaningful out put as a solution strategy for many physical problems.
International Workshop on Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing (IWMS 2012) co-located with International Conference on Eco-friendly Computing and Communication Systems (ICECCS) is intended to provide a common forum for Researchers, Mathematicians, Scientists, Engineers and Practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the area of Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing. The workshop will be conducted on August 11, 2012, the last day of the conference. The workshop strives to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of modeling, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. Emphasis is laid on transferring theoretical results to practical applications and on building long-term cooperation between teams.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Traditional Logic, Fuzzy Logic & Systems, Computational Mathematics, Numerical Methods & Algorithms, Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematical/ Stochastic Modeling, Fluid Dynamics, Coding Theory, Cryptography, Combinatorics & Graph Theory, Time Series Analysis, Communication Technologies, Image Processing - Pattern recognition, Neural Networks.

Submission Information
Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished results are solicited in all areas of theory and practice of Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing. Authors are invited to submit papers through Easychair Conference Management System (https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=iceccs20120).
Selected papers will be included in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer in the series of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS).

CCIS is abstracted/indexed in ISI Proceedings, DBLP and Scopus. The Proceedings will also be included in the CCIS electronic book series hosted in the SpringerLink digital library. Authors should follow the Springer Author Guidelines available in the following web page: LNCS Format.
