From Saint Chavara
Deeksharambham 2023, the initiation ceremony of 23rd batch of B.Tech. and 15th batch of M. Tech. students will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Classes for the first year B.Tech and M.Tech students (2023 admissions) will commence with the course initiation ceremony, Deeksharambham 2023.
Students are expected to report at 9.00 am for Student-Class Teacher interaction.
Reporting venue : K.E. Block, Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology(RSET), Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad.
Participation is mandatory.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at Chavara Hall, RSET at 9.00 a.m. Those who are attending the mass are requested to be seated in Chavara Hall before 8.45 a.m.
Kindly plan to arrive at the campus ahead of time to avoid heavy traffic and possible roadblock.
Parents/guardians should accompany students. Only 2 persons will be allowed inside the auditorium along with a student.
Students should bring a pen and a stamp size photograph. Avoid bringing college bags and other belongings.
Students should wear uniform for the programme.
There will be a class teachers interaction after the official programme to provide parents with important information. Hence, parents are requested to attend the programme on September 12, 2023.
It is advisable that all the first year students at RSET should open a bank account at South Indian Bank, Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad. In connection with that, students are requested to bring the below mentioned documents when they arrive on 12th September 2023. Case 1: if the student is a Major Student needs to bring a copy of Aadhaar, PAN (if available), Birth Certificate, and Passport size photo. Case 2: if the student is a minor In addition to the above mentioned documents student needs to bring a copy of the Aadhaar, PAN, and Passport size photo of the guardian (father or mother). |
The purpose of the three-week Student Induction Programme (SIP), which takes place prior to the start of formal classes, is to prepare newly admitted undergraduate students for the next phase of their lives by facilitating a seamless transition from their home and school environments into the college and university environments.
Following the SIP, an online assessment will be conducted on the 15th day. The test will be of 120 minutes duration and consist of 100 questions, each carrying one mark.
