Dr Indu Geevar

Dr Indu Geevar did her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut (2006) and M.Tech (2012) and PhD (2019) in Structural Engineering from IIT Madras. Her research interests include behaviour of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, design and analysis of bridges.

She has been working in Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kochi since August, 2019. Prior to this, she worked as a project officer for one year (2012-2013) at IIT Madras and was involved in the proof checking of several bridges including prestressed box girder bridges, prestressed T girder bridges, concrete steel composite bridges and arch type bridges. Major projects undertaken as part of proof checking include Chennai metro rail bridges, second IswarSetu-Kalyani extradosed bridge in Kolkata and tied arch bridge at Kayamkulam. She also worked as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies ltd (2006-2009).

She has published technical papers in international and national journals. She has also presented papers at international and national conferences.
