Infosys beats the slowdown by hiring 139 final years from Rajagiri.
Infosys visited Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology for campus placement on December 11th and selected 139 final year students, which is an unprecedented figure in the history of our college.
“Is There A Recession?”
This is the feeling bubbling in the jubilant hearts of the 139 successful final semester students of the 2010 passing out batch of Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology who have been offered a job in none other than Infosys, one of India’s, nay, even globally, leading IT companies. There was joy, elation and a deep sense of achievement in the celebration that came at the end of a long day of tests and interviews. The relief was all the more profound as even before the start of the process, news had trickled in of the results of the Infosys recruitment process at other well known colleges.
It is celebration time indeed at the Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi. Even at the time of the economic boom in 2008 when the recruitment of the 2009 passing out batch was conducted, Infosys had picked up only 67 students whereas this time it has more than doubled.
